Shout out to Trish for being super helpful! We might try again during a different time of year, but would definitely not walk in the future. The walk was $2 (discounted car entry if you came back later) and just was not exciting. The people on the open-air tram looked like they were having a blast! And they got a tour guide. I’d recommend not walking unless you know it’s a good season for the wildlife and opt instead for a bike, car ($10 entry fee) or the tram (separate fee). That being said, the place clearly has potential and it’s not their fault that the overgrowth was high/water was high/birds were not in season. Trail was hot with little shade or places to sit/take a breather. Only interesting thing was the tri-colored heron nest. Saw a total of three or four birds and a tree crab.

Pretty much straight gravel with overgrown swamp area, which didn’t show anything interesting. My fiancé and I sadly agreed it was the most boring walk we’ve ever taken. Went the last week of April and opted to walk the four mile loop. I’m giving this place five stars for the potential with a big ole’ disclaimer to pay attention to your season!! April was not a great season for this place. My toddlers had a great time and all in all we enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back. Our best photos were taken when we offered other families to take photos of them and then they take one of us. You will be better off taking your own photos. Almost every picture they took of us was awful. I am glad we did not get the photo pass and would not suggest getting one. We loved the shows and parades throughout the day. The rides we were able to get on with our toddlers were pretty good and they enjoyed them. We only had to order lunch once since we came prepared with our own snacks. Make sure to also bring an extra charging pack for your cell phone because you will be using it all day for the app. I would definitely suggest getting familiar with the app prior to your trip.

It wasn't that crowded and the Disney Genie Plus Lightning Lanes help cut down our wait for some ridesnot the popular ones though. I love the fact that we were able to bring in our own snacks and drinks in our travel cooler. This was our first time taking out toddlers to Disney. (A hat or umbrella to block to sun would go a long way to increase your sunshine stamina). Plan ahead so budget isn’t a concern and just plan to enjoy yourself.

(Best use of a zip line and LED outfit I have ever seen)

To top it all off you may even see Tinker Belly fly from the castle off into the distance. All of that on top of an absolutely mind blowing audio set up that resonates from what I imagine is hundreds or thousands of speakers throughout the park. LED lights in the trees are synced to the projector lights and are synced to the street lights, synced to the projectors on the castle, synced to the choreographed fireworks. Video and photo do no justice to the visual or audio quality of the display. (Adult beverages and two “meals”).Ī final note, if you go absolutely plan to stay for the firework show. As two adults in Epcot eating/drinks as we got hungry or thirsty and without any concern for cost we spent about $300 above the cost of parking and entry tickets.

If you have kids start at magic Kingdom and plan no less then one full day, several if you have the time. We started on Epcot and moved to Magic Kingdom (two grown adults) we spent over 10 hours in a single day between the two and didn’t even get to see half of magic kingdom (we did no rides just sight seeing and food stops) It absolutely exceeded all of my expectations.Īn absolute must visit for adults and kids big enough to walk on their own. If I were there by myself, I could have easily spent at least a couple days here. We only got to see a fraction of what there was to see and experience (kids got tired). The Space Shuttle Atlantis was phenomenal. It just has to be seen to believe how massive it is. The bus trip to see the Saturn V rocket was absolutely worth it. The exhibits elsewhere were both interactive and informative. My girls could have just stayed there all day. There was so much for all of us to do! The Planet Play, which is basically a giant indoor playground, was amazing. I went with my wife and 2 and 5 year old daughters. I thought the admission price was a bit steep, but I was in the area (and survived the sticker shock of Disney), so decided to go for it. I'll start by saying I'm not a huge space nerd or anything (though a general nerd for sure!), and this destination wasn't at the top of my list of places to visit on my Florida trip.
